Platform-Specific Issues
macOS
- Python support. BrainVoyager 22.4 supports Python 3.8 and 3.10. Python 3.10 is, however, not fully supported. While the BrainVoyager API works as expected, it is not possible to use modules that rely on C/C++ extensions including numpy and matplotlib. It is therefore recommended to use Python 3.8 until the issue has been resolved.
Windows
- No known issues.
Linux
- On some Linux distributions (e.g. Ubuntu 18.04), the standard operating system "Open File" and "Save File" dialogs do not work in case that one (or more) 3D Viewers are open in the MDI document interface. To circumvent this issue, the cross-platform "Open" and "Save" dialogs should be used. For more details, see.
